I assume you’re the fella in the bucket hat? I can’t tell from the back! Either way, good to see you and the family. I recall my dad and his dad painting the draglines every spring (it was a spray thing) and what a nightmare it was when they later blew their noses.

Not me, it’s my mate whose paddock I park in. Now the deck and ramps are done, I can just keep touching them up. The next job is to paint the new trailer, which I don’t think was properly undercoated in the first place. I’m sure your dad would agree – it just never stops.

I assume the paint is to guard against rust and not just aesthetics. It’s true, it never ends. I had to Google what a paddock is. You’re either in a field or at a race course.
