There’s a whole section of the transport industry devoted to carrying earthmover tyres backwards and forwards between Perth and the mines. The big carriers have special trailers to carry tyres standing up, so they’re not overwidth. One company carries only tyres, bringing used tyres back to Perth to be recapped then distributing them Australia-wide.
